| CONNECTION AND RECONNECTION CHARGES
When a reconnection of service is made for a member at the same
location during normal business hours, a charge of $25.00 shall
be made by the Corporation. If a member requests service to be reconnected
during other than normal business hours, a fee of $60.00, except
for Sundays and Holidays when the fee will be $75.00, shall be charged.
For a member who has been disconnected for non-pay, all appropriate
fees and amounts due shall be collected before service is restored.
Accounts disconnected for non-pay will not be reconnected after
hours.
When a reconnection of service is made for a member at the same
location within a twelve-month period after the date the service
was disconnected at the member's request, a charge equal to the
sum of the minimum monthly bills determined for the months that
service was disconnected will be billed to the customer and must
be paid, in addition to the charges stated in the above paragraph,
before reconnection is made.
If a non-member requests service or a member requests service
at a different location and the connection is made during business
hours, there shall be no connection charge. If they request that
this service be connected other than during normal working hours,
a fee of $60.00, except for Sundays and Holidays when the fee will
be $75.00, shall be charged. The individual will then be given two
working days to come to the office to take care of the necessary
paperwork, pay the connection fee and, if appropriate, pay the membership
fee, or the service will be disconnected without further notice.
COLLECTION CHARGE
When it is necessary for an employee of the Corporation to go
to a member's premises to disconnect a delinquent account, a disconnect
charge of $10.00 shall be added to the amount due for electric service,
including any late payment charge. If disconnection for non-payment
is made all fees and charges due shall be collected before service
is restored.
OTHER CHARGES
If Fulton County REMC personnel respond to a consumer call other
than during normal business hours and discover the cause of the
power outage is located on the consumer's side of the meter (tripped
breaker, blown fuse, etc.), there shall be a fee charged of $210.00,
except for Sundays and Holidays when the fee will be $290.00
All damages to REMC property (broken poles, buried cable cut,
trees or tree limbs cut into power lines, etc.) caused by persons
other than REMC employees shall be charged to the person or persons
causing such damage and such charges will include all costs necessary
to make permanent repairs. These charges will include but are not
limited to labor, materials, transportation, appropriate overhead
expenses, etc.

unpaid by the bank for any reason (not the fault of the Fulton County
REMC), the account will be considered unpaid. Each check returned
by the bank will be assessed a handling charge of $25.00.
LATE PAYMENT CHARGE
In the event the current bill is not paid within seventeen (17)
days from the billing date, a late payment charge of three percent
(3%) of the net bill will be added
