ELECTRIC HEAT PUMPS - $500 Rebate

To Qualify:
1. Electric service must be supplied by Fulton County REMC.
   
2. Only one unit per residence can qualify for the rebate.
   
3. Install the air to air heat pump in a home on a permanent foundation which is a full time residence.
   
4. Install a new energy efficient air to air heat pump.
   
5. Install must be completed and in operation.
   
6. Installation has to be inspected by a Fulton County REMC employee.
   
7. Heat pump must meet all state and local codes.
   
8. Heat pump must meet all standards of good workmanship by a qualified dealer.
   
9. Heat pump may be connected to a gas or electric furnace.
   
10. A copy of the invoice for the new equipment along with a copy of the air conditioning, heating and refrigeration institute (AHRI) certificate and the heat loss/heat gain calculation must be given to the REMC.

    GEOTHERMAL - $550 Rebate

    To Qualify:
    
11. Electric service must be supplied by Fulton County REMC.
    
12. Install the geothermal in a home on a permanent foundation which is a full time residence.
    
13. Installation has to be inspected by a Fulton County REMC employee and all forms completed.
    
14. Only one unit per residence can qualify for rebate.
    
15. Install a new energy efficient geothermal.
    
16. Open loop, close loop, and direct exchange will qualify.
    
17. Geothermal must be the primary heat source.
    
18. Install must be completed and in operation.
    
19. Meet all state and local codes.
    
20. Geothermal unit must meet all standards of good workmanship by a qualified dealer.
    
21. A copy of the invoice for the new equipment along with a copy of the air conditioning, heating and refrigeration institute (AHRI) certificate and the heat loss/heat gain calculation must be given to the REMC.

    WATER HEATER PROGRAM - $150 Cost To Member

    To Qualify:
    

22. Electric service must be supplied by Fulton County REMC.
    
23. Replace a gas water heater with a new energy saver electric water heater.
    
24. Install a new super energy saver electric water heater in a new home.
    
25. Replace your old leaking, or non serviceable electric water heater, (Qualified by an REMC employee) with a new high efficiency electric water heater.
    
26. Water heater must be installed in a full time residence on REMC lines.
    
27. Consent to have our load management switch installed on your new electric water heater.
    
28. Pick up your water heater and have it installed within 30 days.
    
29. Call the REMC to have water heater inspected and load management switch installed.
    
30. Say “yes” to free maintenance on the water heater as long as the switch remains in place.
    
31. A mobile Home or Doublewide must be mounted on a permanent foundation.
